| Arrived safely!!!! Sunday nights and Tuesday nights they hold devotionals and they are given by an apostle or member of the seventy usually, still yet to see an apostle but i think we might be seeing one soon for various reasons. The talks are all incredible!!! It's like general conference twice a week! But way cooler cause its live. My district is made up of 2 people from Hong Kong, 1 from Canada,2 from Brazil and only 4 Americans, 3 of which are Utahrians (Utah dwellers). Everything is super spiritual and super cool! The food in the cafeteria...... well hahaha. its different..... everything is either super sweet or super bland! There are doughnuts every morning for breakfast and Sundays and Wednesdays are ice cream days. Everyone looks forwards to them but you may as well just get a tub of sugar and eat that its soooo sweet! hahhahaha. All the things you heard about MTC food was right! Basketball every morning at 6:30 is a bit lame, but only cause of the time!!! 6:30 is way too early for basketball... But im teaching them a thing or two. So much for Americans being good at basketball.... Japanese is a hard language to learn, translating sentences is the worst cause none of the words directly translate, so we started learning Japanese on Wednesday and 2 days later on Friday we started teaching the first lesson to a Japanese fake investigator who only speaks Japanese!!!!! So that is really hard! in our lessons we committed him to read the book of Mormon, in our next lesson he asked us why Nephi killed Laban! easy enough to answer in English.... but in Japanese it is soooo hard so that took up 20 mins of our 30 minute lesson hahahaha but its all good and fun and I'm slowly learning. I'm just glad i have a good foundation on the gospel doctrines and how to teach. On my mission so far my testimony has grown sooo much. truly with God you can do anything!!! The atonement is not there just for repentance but also for a friend to be with you who knows your pain and some one who truly knows how you feel about everything! god never leaves us alone to get lost, he has given us the three greatest gifts in this life that anyone could ever give, the Savior to talk to, the holy spirit to guide us and testify of truth and lastly the gospel which gives us a support network in which we can find strength and support the things that we do that bring us closer to Christ.
